oh please tell me you are like those people who once they see a girl on the phone get the idea that she is talking to her BOYFRIEND..
what is so eww about a girl whispering on the phone? i talk to my husband, and i hate talking loudly so i whisper. Does that put me in your EWW category?

yeah it really irritates me too... it's bad etiquette and plain rude. You shouldn't whisper for more than 30 seconds in front of another person. If you have to say something in private then get up and go outside or something.
I had a friend staying with me once..i awoke at 3am to hear her whispering on the phone...i had to politely throw her out of my house after i realised she does this every night!
